Don’t Go to Your Grave With the Music Still In You!

“Don’t go to your grave with the music still in you” was a saying I heard from Bob Proctor (The Secret) many years ago and it has resonated with me ever since. So what does it mean? It means, don’t go to your grave:

  • Without writing that book you’ve always wanted to write
  • Without taking that trip of a lifetime you’ve planned for years
  • Without telling the people you love how much you really care about them
  • Without finishing the many projects you’ve started and never completed
  • Without completing your goals

I think you get the picture! How many times have you heard people say, “as soon as I retire I’m going to travel the world”. The sad fact is that many people reach retirement age and die shortly after and don’t live to fulfil their dream.

So what if you don’t have enough money to travel when you’re younger? If the goal is big enough and you’re prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve it, you will find the money.

Many people believe that once they retire they will have all the time in the world and put off projects until then.

Wouldn’t it be better to travel or do whatever you’ve dreamed about before it’s too late? Choosing to live your life day by day is a far better option than saving it all up until you “have time”. The trouble is your time runs out.

To fulfil your lifetime goals, set yourself small ones every day so that you get into the habit of setting and achieving goals. It makes it so much easier to set a big goal and then take the action needed to achieve it.

Setting a big goal is exciting and exhilarating and is enormously satisfying once you’ve achieved it. Don’t set yourself a goal without having some idea of how it will pan out. You need a plan, much like a road map, of what you have to do along the way to get there. Whatever you do, don’t give up!

There’s nothing worse than going to a relative or friend’s funeral knowing that they hadn’t achieved what they’d set out to do with their life. Don’t go to your grave with the music still in you! Live each and every day as if it’s your last!

Use These Tips to Make Email Marketing Work?

Email marketing is labeled as a killer method when it comes to effective low-cost Internet marketing endeavors. This is because it is the most widely-used and has the best reputation in bringing targeted traffic to websites. It is used to stay in touch with your customers or prospective customers, send out invitations, or make special offers.

It’s as easy as writing an email that may be in a form of a newsletter or a plain announcement, and sending that to as many targeted recipients as possible. However, there’s an ideal way of going about it. Email marketing is not just about writing any email that you will be sending to anybody. To clarify that, here are some simple tips in doing email marketing the best way possible.

1. Join the “Can Spam” campaign.

Email marketing is not at any rate tantamount to spamming. You are not supposed to send information that your email list will not have any valuable use for.

2. Make your email list open it.

Your email might get lost together with the hundreds of emails that inbox owners are confronted with everyday. Improve your subject line by using extra white space creatively, adding text symbols, starting each word with a capital letter, asking compelling questions, not making any unbelievable claims, and not using the word FREE.

3. Keep it real.

Not including any too good to be true statements is not only applicable to your subject line. Your email content must never embody any promise your business can’t keep. Make your offer genuinely of value to your recipients.

4. Don’t go too low.

If you inform your customers regarding discounts, minimal discounts are not that effective compared with substantial discounts. But never offer discounts that are lower than your profit. It will defeat the purpose of this email marketing effort.

5. Make it eventful.

It’s not about contradicting the advice that you should keep an email short and sweet. This tip is on including seminars, conferences and other events in your email. Businesses that require training, benefit much from this method. With these RSVP-requiring emails, repetition is important. Just make sure that an ample interval is considered before sending out a reminder email.

6. Post news.

Sending newsletters and postcards provides useful information for your subscribers. These are the best forms of reaching out to your customers or prospects. You should keep the information short, simple and direct to the point for this feat to be effective.

With these simple ways of going about your email marketing endeavor, your business will prosper in no time.

Aim for Success

Thinking and acting in a positive manner is part of training yourself to feel and believe you are positive in your approach to things, and that you are going to be successful. It is a self fulfilling prophecy! However it only works if you make it work!

First of all, you do need to plan things. First, you need to plan out your long term goals. Decide where you want to be, and then you need to decide on your strategy and have an action plan with target achievements and target dates. This plan needs to be a visible part of your life every day. Every morning you need to review your goals, and review how you are going to achieve them.

Everyday you need to have at least one thing to achieve that takes you nearer to your long term goal. If you fail to keep sight of your goals, you won’t get to achieve them.

A way of helping you believe in yourself and in reaching your goals, is to visualize yourself in the position you hope to achieve. For example, you can, in your mind, see yourself in the boardroom, or receiving that longed for award, or sailing that fabulous boat in wonderful warm blue seas. You can see yourself living in that wonderful penthouse, with a huge terrace, wonderful views and a hot tub. Or maybe you see yourself as an acclaimed musician, golfer, or artist. It doesn’t matter what your dream is – what matters is that you work at achieving it.

Make the absolute most of your time. If you let your emotional fear hold you up, you will put off starting the things you need to do. And if you start, you will prevaricate and find distractions – anything to avoid actually doing what you need to do. This is something you have to overcome to be successful.

Acknowledge the fear, and work out short periods of time to do at least a part of a task. Don’t allow yourself to be distracted. Ensure you have peace and quiet, and make sure you take your water or coffee with you. This way you won’t be tempted to just ‘put the kettle on while thinking of task A’, and won’t just wander off to the fridge when you should be concentrating on task B’.

Students particularly suffer from the procrastination syndrome. It’s easy to say ‘oh well, I work much better under pressure’, but, in fact, it’s rarely true, and most people just make life harder by putting off the moment. So learn to work to the plan, live with the plan, and see the plan as your route to success. Don’t treat it as an enemy – actually it is your best friend.

Make sure your plan allows time for you to think about where you want to go, and why. Thinking about your future is a good way to keep your goals in sight, and to adapt them if need be. It is worth dreaming a little about how it will feel when you achieve your goals.

Make sure your goals are not too easy, or way too difficult. The long term goals may be a real stretch, and you know you have to work on progress in a realistic manner. So set your interim goals, but review them on a regular basis. Your ‘next’ goal should always be just a little bit harder than you think you can manage. Always ensure you have to aim a tad higher than you think you can reasonably to get to at each stage.

Review your progress and goals at appropriate times. Build in your reviews to your critical path. Yes, you should have a critical path plan. That way, you can save time instead of constantly thinking about what you should do next. The plan should show each task in a format that tracks the sequence of your goals and tasks. A critical path also enables you to build in flexibility and potential for change. It doesn’t mean you are absolutely tied to each goal, each date and each vision. It should enable you to see how well you are doing at meeting your targets, though.

You can build almost anything into your critical path. If you need to get your diet right, then you can build in targets for reducing your dependence on sugary foods. You can have a target date for stopping smoking and weaning yourself off that bad old nicotine. You can build in the need on a regular basis to examine your attitudes, feelings and self esteem.

10 Ways to Make Money with PLR Products

When you buy a product with rights to resell, you only will have the authority to sell such product to others. However, when you buy a certain product with private label rights, then you not only have the authority to sell such product to others but you will have the alternative in selling the “resale right” for that same product.

Meaning that certain individuals who bought from you the “resale rights” of that certain product in which you own the “master resale rights” will therefore get hold of the authority to sell such products to others.

Purchasing “PLR” (private label rights) packages is inexpensive when compared to employing the service of a “ghost writer” to write articles or ebooks for you. On average, PLR articles written by a ghostwriter generally cost between $10 – $30 for one good quality article.

Normally you can modify or revise the article’s content in whatever way you desire. For instance, when you purchased a package of say 30 articles on the subject of “Landscaping”, you can construct an original ebook out of all 30 articles and call it “Lisa’s 30 Quick Tips For Landscaping” and then sell it in Clickbank.

You can also sell your very own ebook on eBay then produce affiliate sales or even lead traffic or prospects to your website through links included your book.

When the PLR package you purchased came in an ebook format, you can separate the entire book into separate individual articles, where each article can be posted in your website, get spidered by search engines and bring more traffic.

Likewise, you can use each articles’ first paragraph in an autoresponder follow-up series then incorporate a link directing prospects to the full article located in your website. Or put together two articles to create a special report that you can use as motivation or incentive so prospects will enroll for a newsletter.

Here are guidelines on how to make money with private label rights:

1. Construct articles that will be displayed for your site. Affix your byline or resource box to all articles then publish them. Permit visitors to “republish” your articles in exchange for publishing your “resource box” in their site. This will spread your advertisement over the web at the same time increase your “link popularity”.

2. Make ezine articles. Affix your byline or resource box to your articles then publish and distribute in your “ezine”. Announce that your articles can be republished if your subscribers will publish your “resource box”. Aside from the fact that this will spread your advertisement as well as increase link popularity, this can also improve your “page rank”.

3. Offer PLR articles as free bonuses. This will increase your products’ perceived value and encourage prospects to purchase your products.

4. Offer PLR articles as bonuses for opt-in list. It will entice visitors to sign up for your email list.

5. Create your very own original info-products. Modify or rewrite the articles to create a completely different article, including yourself as the author.

6. Create completely new articles to submit to ezine “article directories” such as Ezine Articles.

7. Create and then trade your content with different websites. Affix your byline or resource box and then trade them with many high traffic sites.

8. Make articles out of your PLR articles and then promote other people’s products. Affix your byline or resource box to promote an “affiliate program”.

9. Make promotional content for your “affiliates”. With your byline or resource box, permit your “affiliates” to incorporate their “affiliate link” to your articles.

10. Construct whole new original info-products then sell also resale rights.

Almost all PLR packages are directed to buyers within a niche, so there is no worry that ‘your’ material will show up 3 million times over on Google.

Having the authority to rewrite, modify or alter the PLR articles indicate that your article is entirely different from everyone else’s who purchases and repackages that same article or material.

Before purchasing any PLR package, you must read carefully the terms and make certain that you will have authority to rewrite, alter, delete or cut the content in whatever way you want it and affix your name into your new article.

Use your PLR package to create and promote Affiliate Products. Click HERE to see how!

What Is My Advertising Pays (MAPS)?

Watch video HERE to learn about MAPS.

My Advertising Pays is an online traffic exchange program. The way traffic exchange programs work is by allowing fellow internet marketers and businesses to advertise their own products or websites.

In turn for these free advertisements, the advertiser agrees to click on 10 ads per day, which will take between 10-30 seconds for each one. That’s around 5 minutes per day!

My Advertising Pays serves as a paid traffic exchange program. They sell their advertising in the form of $49.99  credit packs, which qualifies you to participate in the profit sharing program, and sees you being paid every 20 minutes.

Basically with MAPS, you have two ways to earn money.
1). Refer people to the program and get a 10% referral commission on the credit packs purchased by your referrals.
2). Participate in the profit sharing plan by purchasing MAPS credit packs (With a 20% return on investment).

Most people do both, but the real focus with MAPS is buying the Credit Packs. And of course to buy as many packs as you can afford to reap the real benefits of profit sharing.

Do You Absolutely Hate Writing Articles?

If you hate writing articles then you are not alone. Many people cringe at the thought of trying to come up with enough information let alone a topic.

Here are a few things you can do to help you write a perfect article.

Headline Must Be Attention-Grabbing

Your headline should reflect the results you want to achieve whether they are desirable, specific, real, targeted or intriguing. Some of the great headlines begin with:
How to…
10 Top Secrets…
Top 5 Ways…
The Hidden Cost…
A Proven System…

Opening Sentence Must be Interesting

One of the more traditional types of opening sentences asks a question, reveals something that is startling, injects emotion, provides facts or proof or presents a problem. Some of the opening remarks used are:
Did you know…?
How many of these…?
I bet you’re frustrated…
According to new studies…
One of the biggest problems…

Body of Article Should Determine Points of Interest

This is particularly important if you are writing a “how to” article. You can use each of the bullet points or any other points you can come up with, to fill in the blanks. Your writing should be personal, positive, practical and to the point.

Closing Paragraph

You should close your article with a “call to action.” In other words, if you are promoting a product you need your reader to go to your website or resource box. Leave the reader with useful but incomplete content which will spur them on to visiting your website for more information.

There you have it! That is how to write an article. It really isn’t hard if you put a bit of thought into the construction of the article first.

More “Seniors” Are Using the Internet Every Day

Are you ever too old to learn how to use the internet? The answer of course is “never!”

Being over 60 myself, I am proof that you can learn new things. I’ve been internet marketing for 9 years and I love what I do. It’s often challenging, but I work my way through it and ask for help when I need it. This is an important step in your learning because you need someone to hold your hand while you learn.

I’ve done many courses and a lot of them are filled with “fluff” and no real substance. Many invite you to join their webinars and they spend the first 30 minutes telling you how much they’ve made and show “proof” of their earnings. All I want is for them to show me HOW they did it! It is easy enough to do when you know how and what you need to look for when choosing products.

You can choose to promote affiliate products on your site or you may decide to write an ebook or design a training course to sell online. I have written an ebook titled “Simple Guide to Affiliate Marketing, Step-by-step instructions for beginners” and an ecourse “Website Marketing Tips & Tricks”. Both of these guides are set out simply to show you how easy it is to begin.

You may not want to sell anything at all. You can use a website for so many different reasons and that is the beauty of the internet. If you have a passion for something such as fishing, you could set up a website sharing ideas and information with others, and it is so easy to set up a forum of your own.

I have spent many hours training myself on how to use the internet and my websites are built using premium WordPress blog templates. An example of one of the templates I use is this site. I am still adding to it and will probably keep changing it, but it gives you an idea of how they look.

I will be adding more training to my website in the next few months so keep coming back to check on my progress.

Another Way to Increase Traffic to Your Site

The first thing you need to do is to join one of the many blog networks. Within a blog network you are able to share links with other bloggers under the “network” umbrella.

Just suppose that I, as an internet marketer, wrote a post about someone else’s blog post on the network about the same niche, and I added their link. I will then ask them to add my link to their post. This is called backlinking and the purpose is to get traffic moving between the blogs to improve search engine rankings, which is achieved because of the increase in backlinks.

Just remember that all blog networks are not the same and one of the easier ones to join and be a part of is Networked Blogs . There are many others to choose from and they all offer different ways to expose your blog. You need to increase traffic by expanding your audience, and increase your search engine rankings. By giving back to the blog community you are showing that you are there for more than leeching traffic.

When you first become a member of a blog network, you will get direct traffic from other members checking you out and creating awareness for your blog. The more people read your blog the better your chances are of backlinking to their blog and vice versa.

Other people’s blogs are an effective way for you to attract more traffic to your blog. Once you join a blog network, you immediately become a member of a blogging club, whose members are willing to share their passions and ideas to help with the growth of all blogs.

You are the person who controls your blog, but you want to have your words heard by others in as many places as you can, by opening up communication channels.

A blog network can do that for you. You may write something in your blog which will pique the interest of others and compel them to write something about your words, and then pass it on to other bloggers. This will only happen if you are writing about something that will make them take notice.

The greatest thing you can do as a blogger is to participate within the blogging community, making others aware of you are and what you are about, to increase your exposure.

We all want to increase traffic to our blogs, so by choosing to become a member of a blog network, you can be rest assured that by participating you will increase awareness, which in turn increases traffic.
